We are happy to report the Globe Pro Fiji went off in epic conditions at Restaurants and Cloudbreak. Thanks to all who watched the live webcast!
The current World Champ, Mick Fanning, took home the first annual Freestyle Tube Time Award and $2,000.00 for his epic tube ride at Restaurants,

and none other than 8-time World Champ Kelly Slater took home the victory, his 3rd of the season! We imagine Kelly and Occy are discussing how much they like Freestyle. Kelly’s saying, “Darn Occy, I wish I could be back on the Freestyle team like I was in the 80’s!” Occy replies, “No kidding mate, I need to get me one of those Shark Watches, it’s the raddest watch ever!”

Cha-Ching, can you say photo incentive? We are busting out the check book right now! Team rider Nic Lamb just landed on the cover of the August issue of Transworld Surf rocking the Red/White Shark Classic and primo freestyle sticker placement. Aspiring pro surfers take note; this is a team manager’s dream! Way to go Nic, your had work is paying off, congratulations! In case you haven’t noticed Nic is charging all over the place, check out this sequence…DID HE MAKE IT?

Shark Alert! These custom Shark Classic colors are not available in stores, so the only way you can get your hands on one is to throw some cash down in this charity raffle. Head over to Dukes at the Huntington Beach Pier on the pier this Wednesday June 11th at 7:00pm to support Surf Aid International and The Orange County Coast Keepers by buying some raffle tickets. Come on people, the proceeds all go to keeping our ocean playground clean and healthy. Here’s a lung busting Freestyle shout out to Matt Myers for putting together the 2008 Schralpfest in Santa Cruz. Just check out the flyer and you’ll get the picture, there is going to be a ton of free goodies for you to get your grubby little hands on. Whether you’re a competitor or not, head on down on Saturday and support the cause. And try to give Matt a wedgie for us. In fact, we’ll give a free shark watch to the first person that gives Mr. Myers a proper wedgie!
