I am a strong independent Hawaiian woman that loves the ocean. I was looking for a watch that would handle the ocean but functional for my nursing job. While shopping for watches, I came across this one and I was so so excited! I really enjoy the large face of watch and size of the font and numbers. The silicone band is comfortable and easy to clean. Fast forward two years, while doing yard work my watch got caught on something and the face frame cracked. I was so bummed out! I went online to order but discovered the manufacturing on particular watches was halted and I would be notified once it's back in production. I setled on buying a Nixon watch but it wasn't the same.Two years down the line, I got a email and it said that the Shark XL Tide was back in production and now available for purchase!!! I was sooooo excited again! I bought myself the watch for my birthday in August and could not be any happier!!!!! When I put aside money for myself, I am buying me a backup pair just in case anything happens. I am never without my watch. My daddy has always said, " I know you sometimes cannot do everything, but you can at least be on time."

In short, I am absolutely absolutely satisfied and very very much happy with this watch.

This is the only tide watch that works for me & lasts longer than a year (sorry Nixon) if they make a blue one, I will buy another one

The watch gives me all the information I need to get the most out of ever surf.

This is my 4th Shark Tide Watch. I was so disappointed when production stopped & I no longer was able to get my watch tide table updated. Clearly this is the best Tide watch on the market today, easy to read, easy to set.
